Libraries
Our Libraries are located across the different departments in the School of Biological Sciences in order to better attend to our users. The nine departments, with dedicated institutes and research centres, a museum, a botanic garden, and an animal hospital, has a team of specialist subject librarians working remotely and on-site to support students and researchers across the school.
We support:
- Undergraduates taking Natural Sciences, Psychological and Behavioural Sciences, and Medical and Veterinary Sciences triposes.
- Postgraduate students studying and researching topics that range across the biological sciences and beyond into interdisciplinary topics.
- Research staff and visitors based in Biological Sciences departments.
'Moore' Library for you - In addition to our Departmental Libraries, you also have access to the extensive science collections at the Betty & Gordon Moore Library which is open to all members of the University. This is especially useful for people who may be based in one of the few Biological Sciences departments without a dedicated library space.
